In addition, the Kaieteur national park support’s a mirco environment with Tank Bromelaids, the largest in the world, in which the tiny golden frog spends its entire life. The rarely seen Cock-of-the-rock can sometimes be seen nesting nearby. The luckly visitor may also see the famous flights of the Swifts or Makonaima birds which nest under the vast shelf of rock carved by the water over the centuries.

• Georgetown & the Demerara River could be seen immediately after take-off.
• 12 mins. After take off CBJ Int’l Airport could be seen out of the left window.
• 10 mins after, Bartica & Essequibo river could be seen out of the right window.
• 25 mins after, Omai Gold Mines should be visible out of the left window in the distance.
• 10 mins. After, the Potaro River should be visible out of the left window.
• 7 mins after, the aircraft will begin crossing the Pakaraima Mountain range.
• 6 mins after the aircraft will be over Kaieteur falls.
