Arrowpoint Nature Resort is named after the many Arrow Trees found in the area, which is used by the Amerindians to make their arrows for hunting. The Resort itself is set against the backdrop of the Rainforest which is a haven for birdwatchers and nature lover since there is an abundance of wildlife including 350 species of birds. There is also a maze of jungle trails used for Nature Walks and Mountain Biking. In the foreground is a stretch of white sandy beach sloping gently into the refreshing cool black waters of the Pokerero Creek.

Day 1
– Our bus departs Roraima Duke Lodge at 13:00hrs, after arriving at our Marina the boat departs at 14:hrs ,On arrival at the
Marina you will board our boat for a 45 minutes trip to Arrowpoint Nature Resort where you will be greeted by our
friendly staff offering a welcome drink. You will then be briefed on the history and safety of the resort while enjoying
some snacks. After you have been shown to your accommodations, you will be able to relax and enjoy the sound of
the birds returning for the evening and watch the sun set etc. After dinner – experience the Creatures of the Night
Expedition – a night walk on the nearby trails and a boat ride gives and opportunity to observe animals that is not
usually seen in the day.
Day 2
Awake to the beautiful sound of the birds chirping, you have the choice of sleeping in, going bird watching for the
spectacular Crimson Topaz or going fishing with our guides. Breakfast is served on the verandah at 07:30. After
breakfast you can relax in the cool water or sunbathe and at 11:00 we will take you on our Wabani Expedition, on your
return a fabulous buffet lunch awaits you. If you wish after lunch we offer various levels of mountain biking (ask tour
coordinator) or simply relax on the beach. A birding activity by canoeing is conducted in the latter evening. Dinner will
be served buffet style under the stars on the beach around the bon-fire.
Day 3
After breakfast – Hiking through the rainforest to Maburi Junction an opportunity to observe some more wildlife
including a visit to the Bell Bird calling site. After lunch, our boat will depart Arrowpoint for the Marina at 15:30hrs.

will then board our boat for an approximate 45 minutes’ drive to Arrow-Point Nature Resort where
you will be greeted by our friendly staff, offering a welcome drink. You will then be briefed on the
history and safety of the resort while enjoying some snacks. After you would have been shown to your
accommodation, you would be able to relax and enjoy the sound of the birds returning for the evening,
as you watch the sun set etc. Dinner will be served buffet style on the beach around the bon-fire.
Day 2

breakfast you can relax in the cool water or sunbathe and at 11:00hrs we will take you on our Wabani
Expedition, on your return, a delicious buffet lunch awaits you. If you would like, after lunch we offer
various levels of mountain biking (ask tour coordinator) or simply relax on the beach. Our Boat will
then depart the Resort at 16:00hrs for the Marina. It would have been our pleasure to have you and
hope you would be left with lasting memories.
You will arrive back at the Roraima Duke Lodge at approximately 18:00hrs.
